A few months ago I donated a portrait session to a charity ball to raise vital funds for two important charities, Live Life Give Life, and The Stars Appeal - and collectively the event raised over £18,000 for these two charities, a fantastic result. You can read about it here: http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/
The lovely family who successfully bid for my session invited me to their home near Andover to photograph them all, catching the wonderful evening light in the wheat fields just before harvest. The two boys are insanely talented young sportsmen with bright sporting futures and I wanted to capture the energy, bond and (healthy!) competition between them as well as the entire family together. The eldest embarks on secondary school adventures this term, so it's a poignant time for the parents as their boys take another step closer to adulthood. We had such fun and the boys were up for anything - including giving each other a drenching with ice cold water....boys, eh?
