I was thrilled to have been awarded the Photographer of the Year award for 2015 at the recent Wiltshire Life awards. What a fun evening - a lovely excuse to get dolled up in black tie (which in dreary January is a real treat) and attend a gala dinner and awards ceremony with lots of talented and inspirational individuals and businesses.
The awards celebrate all that is great about our wonderful county, from tourism, to sporting achievements, young achievers, food & drink and of course photography. The two other fantastically talented finalists were Martin Cook (2nd place) who is a wonderful amateur landscape photographer, and Robert Peel who is also a landscape photographer based in an around Malmesbury, which also won Town of the Year.
I got to bring home a wonderful trophy to add to my little collection, a third award in two years, for which I am very grateful (and slightly disbelieving!)
